Calls to diversify and decolonize the world’s universities and museums are widespread. If everyone agrees that change is necessary, why is it so hard? In this talk, I’ll discuss the inequality pipeline and how it prevents artists and writers from what have been culturally peripheral countries to gain full and equal access to the global art and literary fields.
